CCIE Google+ Hangouts

At the beginning of my study, one of our friends started doing some online meet ups, from time to time, we gathered at a specific date and explained a couple of topics (or only one if it was too long), we shared a good time while learning for the CCIE lab. From those meetings I got to know a bunch of interesting people (some of them I still keep in touch with).

Now that Google+ is allowing to start a hangout and share desktops, I was wondering if a good number of people would be interested in doing this kind of sessions. You can join from your computer, Android phone or tablet (sorry Apple fans but I think that iPhone/iPad is not supported yet).

I’m thinking of doing it at weekends (probably not all weekends), one of us will do a lecture on a specific topic, with configuration and troubleshooting examples. We can start with something simple, and see if people start to catch up.

Would you be interested?, If enough people want to join, we can start it and plan it, but we got to have a good number of people.

Please leave a comment if you like the idea, and share this post with everyone you feel would like to join. Don’t forget to add initial draft to your google+ circles, if this idea starts to roll, we would only use the blog to announce topics and dates, the rest of the planning would be done on our Google+ page.

I’ll wait for you feedback.
